Testing

Serological testing for infectious diseases is performed by CLIA-certified laboratories on all donor tissues prior to placement. The standard screenings include, but are not limited to:

• HIV 1
• HIV 2
• Hepatitis B
• Hepatitis C

Additional screenings available upon request include:

• CMV
• HTLV 1
• HTLV 2
• RPR

Donor information accompanies each shipped tissue and serology results are available for a fee.
